Kelowna – Full Urban Outdoor Sauna, Bar, and Shed Setup

This project started with a stock sauna—and quickly turned into a full custom backyard setup. What began as a simple purchase evolved into a full outdoor experience with a sauna, bar, shed, and outdoor shower—all built to match, delivered together, and installed on a tight urban site in Kelowna.

How It Started
The client first reached out to purchase a ready-to-go sauna we had in stock. But like many great backyard projects, things didn’t stop there.
Once we delivered the sauna, he started thinking bigger.
First came the idea of an outdoor shower, then a bar for entertaining, and eventually a matching shed for storage. We worked with him through each phase, building the units one at a time as his vision came together.
It was one of those organic projects—adding, adjusting, and dialing things in as the property came to life. Great client, smooth collaboration, and a backyard setup that now feels fully thought through.
The Build
Each structure was custom-built to match in look and feel:
The sauna was finished with clear cedar inside and out, paired with black metal for contrast and durability.
The bar used the same materials, with a clean front serving window.
The shower tied in with the same exterior finishes and a simple, practical design that works with the rest of the space.
The shed was built with matching black metal siding for a clean, low-maintenance storage option.
Despite being built in phases, the whole package looks like it was designed from day one.
The Installation
We delivered everything on two trailers in a single trip, staging early in the day to beat traffic and give ourselves room to work.
The site was tight—wedged between fences and overhead power lines—so a crane wasn’t an option. Luckily, the client was working with Greenstone Solutions, who handled landscaping and site prep, and they were fully set up to help with the install.
Using a skid steer and compact excavator, we worked alongside the crew to unload and place each unit onto its prepped pad. Utilities were stubbed in and ready, and with good communication and teamwork, the whole process took just a few hours.
Another Successful Delivery!
From a single sauna to a complete four-structure setup, this project came together piece by piece and still landed as one cohesive, dialed-in backyard. Sauna, shower, bar, and shed—all built to match, installed smoothly, and ready to enjoy.
